Introduction
Wishmade ("we", "us", "our") runs wishmade.app, an online tool that creates and edits images and short videos with AI. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What We Collect
Account information
- What: Your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in with Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Why: To create your account, keep your credits, images and videos together, and contact you about your purchases.
Photos, images and videos
- What: The photos you upload, the descriptions and settings you choose, and the images and videos generated from them.
- Why: To generate your images and videos, deliver them to you, and investigate failed generations.
Payment information
- What: Order amount, credit pack, payment status and billing email. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Why: To process purchases, add credits, issue refunds and keep accounting records.
Usage and device information
- What: Pages visited, buttons used, generation status, browser and device type, and IP address.
- Why: Security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and improving the site.
How Your Photos Are Used
- Your photos are used only to generate the images or videos you requested.
- To generate results, your photos are sent to our AI image and video generation providers, which process them on our behalf.
- We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models of our own. The providers that generate results handle them under their own terms.
- We do not publish your photos or videos or show them to other users.
Photos of Other People
Only upload photos of yourself, your own pets, or adults who have agreed to appear in the results. Do not upload photos of children or public figures. By uploading a photo of another person, you confirm that you have their permission.
Storage and Retention
Uploaded photos and generated images and videos are stored with our cloud storage provider. Each file is served from a long, random link that is not listed or published anywhere, but anyone who has the link can open it, so share links with care. We keep files while your account is active so you can view and download your work, and for as long as needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see "Your Rights").
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers that run the service for us: hosting and database, cloud storage, AI image and video generation, payment processing (Stripe), sign-in (Google) and analytics.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety and prevent fraud.
- A successor, if the business is merged, acquired or its assets are transferred.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in will not work without them.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, including your uploaded photos and generated images and videos, or to close your account. Contact us at [email protected] from the email address you sign in with. We respond within 30 days.
International Transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. We rely on their contractual safeguards to protect it.
Children
The service is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Photos of children must not be uploaded.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
